As this day arises, I realized it is so easy to fall into robot mode -- get ready for work, get the kids off to school, go to work, come home, prepare dinner, get the kids ready for bed, spend time with spouse or significant other before returning to bed and starting all over.
Think back to your happiest days. What was one thing that made your day brighter?
Smiles! Smiles can lift us up and take us so far. Smiles open doors to relationships. Smiles deteriorate walls to interaction. Smiles motivate!
Think back to a happy time. Was there not a smile that got you there? Possibly it was your own smile towards someone else. Or was it someone else's smile towards you?
